Abstracts must be submitted via the Doity website by October 30, 2026.
At least one author must attend the conference. Otherwise, the abstract will neither be presented nor published.

Submission process
To submit the abstract of your manuscript to the 25th International Conference on Radionuclide Metrology and its Applications (ICRM 2027), please follow the instructions below. The form is available on the submission page of the official website.
Submission deadline: September 10, 2026 to October 30, 2026
1. Important Notes:
Abstracts will be accepted until October 30, 2026. Do not wait until the last minute.
The abstract must be written in English.
Step-by-step instructions for filling out the form
1. Title
Enter the title of your work in English. Use upper- and lower-case letters according to standard scientific title formatting
2. Subject area
Select the subject area of your abstract from the dropdown list. Choose the option that best aligns with the content of your work. The available areas are:
- LS: Radionuclide Metrology in Life Sciences
- LLMT: Low-Level radioactivity measurement techniques
- MS: Mass Spectrometry (Subgroup of LLMT)
- GS: Gamma-ray Spectrometry
- ABS: Alpha-particle and Beta-particle Spectrometry
- LSC: Liquid Scintillation Counting techniques
- 3ND: Nuclear Decay Data
- RMT: Radionuclide Metrology Techniques
- AIM: Aspects of International Metrology
- KC: Key Comparisons
- MSRM: Measurement Standards and Reference Materials
- QA: Quality Assurance and uncertainty evaluation in radioactivity measurementSP: Source Preparation
3. Keywords
Based on this evaluation, the reviewer makes a recommendation, and the Scientific Committee decides:
Accepted for oral presentation
Accepted for poster presentation
Rejected
4. Abstract
- Paste or type the text of your abstract into the indicated field.
- The abstract must be written in English.
- Character limit: 5,000 (including spaces). The page will display the number of characters typed and remaining
Recommendation: Prepare the text beforehand in a text editor and paste it into the form to avoid losing information.
5. File
- Attach your abstract file in PDF or DOCX format, according to the instructions on the website.
- The file must be in English.
- Use the official template available at www.icrm2027.org.br/ to ensure correct formatting.
- Click “Choose File” and select the file from your computer.
6. Institution
Provide the name of your home institution (e.g., LNMRI/IRD, CNEN, PTB, NIST, NRC, university, etc.).
7. Author information
- Author name: Enter the full name of the main author.
- Author email: Enter a valid email address for the main author. All communications will be sent to this email.
- Add Co-author: If there are co-authors, click this button to add them. Repeat the process for each co-author, providing their full name and email.
- Presenter: Select from the listed authors, who will present the work at the conference.
8. Finalization
- After filling in all required fields, review the information and click “Submit”.
- You will receive an email confirmation after successful submission.

Abstract Review and Acceptance Process
After submission, each abstract undergoes an evaluation process conducted by the ICRM 2027 Scientific Committee. The goal is to ensure that all works presented at the conference have scientific quality and relevance to the field of radionuclide metrology.
1. Forwarding to the Subject-Area Reviewer
Enter the title of your work in English. Use upper- and lower-case letters according to standard scientific title formatting
2.Evaluation Criteria
The reviewer evaluates the abstract based on predefined criteria, which include:
- Originality and innovation: Does the work present new contributions to the field?
- Scientific merit: Are the methodology and results solid and relevant?
- Clarity and objectivity: Is the abstract well structured and does it convey the message effectively?
- Interest to the audience: Is the topic relevant to the conference participants?
3.Decision and Classification
Based on this evaluation, the reviewer makes a recommendation, and the Scientific Committee decides:
- Accepted for oral presentation
- Accepted for poster presentation
- Rejected
4. Notification to Authors
After all evaluations are completed, the Scientific Secretariat sends an email notification to the corresponding author, informing them of the decision and providing guidelines for the presentation.
5.Confidentiality
The entire review process is confidential. Reviewers do not have access to the authors’ identities, and authors do not know who reviewed their abstract, ensuring an impartial evaluation based exclusively on scientific merit.
